Elegant and distinctive Scandinavian design means our vehicles do not attract unnecessary attention. All shielding solutions, such as reinforced window glass, are elegantly integrated and almost invisible from the outside.
Ballistic Certification
The complete vehicle is certified according to the standards of the American standard NIJ 0108.01 and also the Brazilian standard NBR 15.000 for level III-A. Volvo Cars guarantees functionality in all parts and safety systems. Our certification shows the exhaustive quality of the shielding process; Ballistics tests were done on real, fully armored vehicles using different angles and are certified by the German ballistic testing authority Beschussamt Ulm.
